Our Illumina down comforter uses a unique, revolutionary new fabric called Lyocell. Lyocell is a fabric made from wood pulp mostly from the eucalyptus trees which are self-sustainable. This combination results in increased durability, increadible softness like the feeling of silk, wonderful comfort and very light weight fabric. This unique fabric composition also provides superior comfort, as lyocell provides more consistent temperature control and a better ability to wick moisture, leaving the sleeper dry, warm and enjoying the softness against the skin.
